Wetland Archaeology and Prehistoric Networks in Europe

13-19 September 2017

Kiev, Kaniv (Ukraine)

Last week, we participated at the Wetland Archaeology and Prehistoric Networks in Europe conference held in Kiev and Kaniv. Several CPR members presented their research at this international conference, referring to the relation of the ‘river people’ from the Black Sea and Macedonia, prehistoric tools found at stilt dwellings, identity formation in swampy valleys and the use of spatial analysis in tell study. Archaeologists from various countries attended the conference, thus providing an excellent opportunity for learning about the latest work of our colleagues in wetland archaeology.
